I, however, think that fiction is the loophole in that gut-wrenchingly tightassed approach to thought.<br /><br />Our lives are narratives shaped by sensory input. What your mother did was write a story that made her feel good, and not only is there nothing wrong with that, it's also healthy, cathartic, and creative.
